Description
The hotel company Room Mate Group decided to move its headquarters to a historic building (it once housed the Real Fábrica de Velas) in Madrid’s Malasaña neighborhood. Room Mate Hotels values the creation of welcoming and different spaces, and the space where its corporate structure works had to transmit these values and be a meeting place.
The 18th century mansion where this headquarters is located respects the facade and integrates all the characteristics of a modern workspace inside: flexible, colorful and diverse.
To achieve this transformation, Room Mate relied on QUADRATURE for the execution of the works, the furnishing and the integral decoration. Quite a challenge in a building of these characteristics, with a spectacular result that respects its surroundings. In addition to the offices, the building is intended to be a protagonist in the life of the neighborhood with coworking activities, events and even a test laboratory for the hotel room of the future.
